• Original Medicare Part A and/or B don't cover outpatient prescription drugs. You will need to purchase a standalone PDP if you have Medicare Parts A and/or B.

• There are Medicare Advantage-only plans. These MA plans don't cover outpatient prescription drugs. However, you cannot purchase a standalone prescription drug plan to add to your MA plan.
